The entire support staff is exemplary. I would change nothing. Dr. McGarry is the first neurologist in my 40 years of searching who possesses the qualities necessary to make me feel heard. He makes a patient feel at ease, he listens and suggests changes when needed. He gives reasons for the changes and the hopeful resolution. The survey asked about treating "the whole patient". I just thanked him in this visit for doing just that. He treats me for essential tremor which is aggravated by anxiety. So, yes, he treats the whole patient. I've recently realized he has made me aware of things that I add to my anxiety ! He's the best; thought provoking, insightful, resourceful, instills confidence and is empathetic ! I am a huge fan! He is a wonderful human being and I am very fortunate to have him for my doctor .

Dr. McCarty treats my whole being, not just my tremor. Until recently I have made light of it and its minor hurdles. As it has become more obvious and difficult to cope with it has had a huge impact on me. Dr. McGarry recognizes and validates the emotional as well as the physical aspects of this. He offers support and encouragement in coping. When I leave his office I am refreshed in my spirit, my hopes, my ability to cope and a positive attitude ! I can't resist this "I've got a new attitude" because he's "Simply the Best" ! And it's true ! I've never trusted a doctor more !
