Ella Hawk is one of the kindest and sweetest doctors I've ever actually encountered. She takes time, she's smart, she's educated, and she explains things very well and provides alternatives to things I may not agree with. I have nothing but nice things to say about MD Anderson and Dr. Ella Hawk. The only thing that bothered me was I waited on a video call for a long period of time. They did email me to tell me that she was running behind, but while I was still waiting, she ended up calling on the phone. We had our conversation an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Other than that, everything was great.

Ella Hawk is one of the most engaging and empathetic health care professional I have ever had the pleasure of associating with. I volunteered for a study she initiated 5+ years ago because there was something about her. A sense of caring and wanting to make the world better for everyone she touched. She has not let things that would harden most others tarnish her desire to bring light and hope to people who have very little of either. She is a true hero to me.
