Ella Hawk and Dr Derivaux are the best!!!! I love them both and trust them with everything.

Dr Derivaux is amazing. He shakes your hand, looks you in the eyes and is listening to what the patient is saying. His APN Ella Hawk is awesome too. What a great team.

Very good experience

Ella and I met when I volunteered for a cancer study 8-10 years ago. From day one I recognized a light in her. (I'm very sensitive to the nature of people). I've met a lot of intelligent people. A lot of educated people. A lot of empathetic people. But is VERY RARE to find intelligence, education, and empathy in one person. Especially in medicine where the debilitating effects of disease can harden the heart of the provider. That hardening is not a fault. It is a function of self preservation. But Ella has never let that assault on her empathy dim her wonderful engaging in the health of her patients. Add to that her dedication to her service (I'm a Vietnam veteran) and in my mind you have a perfect person to keep in your circle. I'm 76 and this is truly the first time I have found all those attributes in such abundance in one person. God bless and keep Ella Hawk. She has the ability to heal the sick, comfort those in pain, and shed a bright light wherever she goes and whatever she does. She has become my friend.

I can't say enough GREAT things about Cooper MD Anderson staff from the time you walk in the front door until the time you meet with your doctor! And Ella Hawk is simply one of a kind. The energy she gives off and the time she takes to explain things puts her at a special level of greatness.
