About Erin Esposito
Professional Statement
Dr. Esposito completed her fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and she completed most of her clinical training in hospital settings in the greater Philadelphia area. Throughout her training, she had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients with neurological disorders including (but not limited to) dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury. In addition to her experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations, she also has extensive experience in behavior management for disorders stemming from neurological impairment. She views the neuropsychological assessment process as a way to assist patients and their families to identify strengths and weaknesses and to provide targeted recommendations that will improve quality of life.

It was a very pleasant experience with consideration for me and I had time, as much time as I needed to answer the questions and I got a simplified report so I'm looking forward to the next additional appointment that I will have with a neurologist. So it was a very comfortable session and I felt that I was understood. Thank you.

Considering it was the first time experiencing this evaluation, I found it somewhat stressful because I had no idea what to expect. But I understand why prepping ahead of time would not have allowed for the level of objectivity most useful for obtaining the best results without influences that prior knowledge would have caused.
