Everything wonderful; doctor gave me extra time and the office staff contacted me via the portal to follow up on insurance tasks that needed to get done. I heard at this visit that Cooper now has a policy against giving out samples, gastro medicines tend to be thousands of dollars per month so it would be a great service to your patients to bring back samples when possible. This illness is tough to live with and it is such a relief to have such a good care team that responds promptly on the portal as well.

Most thorough Dr visit I have had in a long time. Dr Matusow not only discussed the reason for my visit, but also items related to the visit(including hospital stay in Jan and diet items for that and losing weigbt to avoid GLP 1 at this time. He was not afraid to state what would help me and what would not and adred to my knowledge of diverticulosis more than any Dr seen previously, plus explained my upcoming colonoscopy and cardiology appts, related to my overall health!

That was my first visit with Dr Gary Matusow. Sometimes I'm apprehensive on an initial appointment with a new doctor, especially a male doctor. He made me feel very comfortable. With absolute honesty, I immediately thought of my early childhood when Dr's made house calls. Specifically Dr Matusow's "bedside manner" as it were. He was attentive, caring, understanding and really took the time to listen. He didn't shrug off my illness or frustrations of suffering with it. He gave me hope to believe that there might be an end in sight. His professionalism showed when he looked at me when he spoke. He talked to me, not at me. I felt like a person, not a case. Literally, after years of fighting my illness alone, Dr Matusow not only joined my struggle, he is leading the battle now. Years of Dr's and specialists have made me quite jaded to the point of avoiding them completely. Dr Matusow brought back a sence of believing in there is hope and it's ok to see a better life for myself. As in, the Dr saw the possibility that other symptoms I thought to be random, might be related. Or the fact that he texted me! He did so, after mentioning it earlier that day, on thoughts and other possibilities. Where can you find that anywhere these days I'm so impressed with Dr Matusow and how my hopes have been lifted by him! (Still with the reality that my illness might be permanent.) But I have hope again. I see now that what once was I thought to be gone, is still existent, within the Cooper Medical System. With at least one Dr, Dr Matusow. I'm thankful, I'm greatful and I am humbled.

He provides the in depth information that only a well informed sub specialist can at a level that I need to have a deeper understanding of my diagnosis, treatment options, monitoring, follow up care and possible outcomes. Although I do not like the travel time due to the inconvenience to see him now that he is no longer in EHT I will continue to see him, but it makes it difficult to refer others to him because of that. I wanted to download some labs and other test results for the doctor before I arrived for my visit. I wasn't able to figure out how to do it on the portal. Could just be me. I'm getting old, but it didn't seem obvious. Other than that, the rest of the visit was good.

Dr. Matusow is one of the best GI doctors in the country. He saved my life years ago and he is the only doctor who was able to diagnose my finance and me with alpha gal. He is definately a top doc and should be recognized for being an excellent doctor with excellent bedside manners! !

I think it would be a mistake if you close the office for GI purposes. I was very impressed with all the doctors, the nurses, the technicians, everybody. The doctor was close and it's an inconvenience for me because I don't drive that far and to go to my doctor now, I would have to go to North Jersey two places. So it is inconvenient for me until the doctor returns, if he returns, which I hope he does, So, but everybody was very, very nice from start to finish. I couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend Dr and all the staff around there. Very, very nice. But it is an inconvenience for me now to have to travel to go see him and I can't do it. I have mixed emotions. Very satisfied with the care and caring with Dr. Matuso and his staff here on Fire Road at Cooper Gastroenterology there. I am quite disappointed that Dr Matuso and his staff will no longer be at this location. Moving them to Pennsville NJ and Willingboro NJ does not show much consideration for your patience that rely on them. First I lost Dr. Kaufman now Dr. Matuso. I am not too impressed with upper management.

No, my experience there is fine. He's always compassionate and willing to help and I have no complaints. The only complaint I have is guys are leaving and we have to go far to see the doctors closing that office there in Carver Township and you have to go all the way to Pennsville or to Mount Laurel, which makes it difficult. It's a shame. I don't know. But all the doctors and all the employees there, they're fine. They treat you with respect and dignity. So thank you for your time.

Feel confident with interaction with Dr Matusow. Have been patient with Atlantic Gastro for 2+ decades. Was apprehensive about change to Cooper but found Dr Matusow to be very effective. Hope to continue as a patient with Cooper after remodel at Fire Road location. Alternative locations outside of Atlantic County area are not working for office visit sites. I trust that this will be considered for my future as a patient.

The doctor listens and explains everything and if a prescription is going to be too much money, he tells me to let him know because there are other prescriptions that would work also.

I appreciate that I was able to be seen at the Fire Rd location, it is an easy drive from my home. Driving to Camden County would be a hardship for me and I hope Fire Rd facility will still be available after renovations. I am 83 yrs of age and would appreciate consideration when the "decision makers" schedule where Gastroenterology will be located in Atlantic County.

this survey did not seem to know I was not int eh office but it was a ZOOM call. It started 20 minutes last - however I was told to be on 20 minutes ahead of time - so it seemed to take quite a while. But the Doctor was very nice.

I call for appt since I had a positive test,and the appt was given soon.The staff and Dr was excellent and I feel confident I will get better after my treatment. The place was easy to park and immaculate clean and beautiful flowers and garden.Thank you.

Arrived early. Checked in with front desk immediately. Was taken back to exam room within minutes (prior to appointment time). Asked basic questions about history, meds, etc. Then seen by doctor almost immediately after that. Very good experience.

Please reconsider keeping GI at this location when the renovations are done. This area is in great need of a great Gastroentorology practice. Our other choices (limited) in Atlantic County do not compare to the excellent care and professionalism we receive at Cooper Gastro on Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township. Thank you!

Although it took 2 months to get the appointment it was worth the wait. by Dr. Matusow. He really was caring about me. I am a senior and 86 years old. I've known him for a number of years, but I haven't been in contact with him since I moved to another location. Recently found that he was here and I've been, I'm very pleased with his response. He gave me a good recommendation for two tests that I have already taken one. And I'm scheduled to take another one at AMI on Friday. These tests could have been given to me by a prior gastroenterologist, which I have been seeing for a long, long time. And they never provided them, never offered them to me. I'm very much concerned that Dr. Matusow may be leaving this area of Southern New Jersey, Atlantic County.

Everyone was friendly and professional

From the staff to the doctor and back again everyone was very professional and courteous

Getting an appointment was "mostly easy" because the Veterans Affairs never know what they are doing. Dr. Matusow restores my faith in the medical profession. I love that he wants to figure out the problem and treat it. I trust him with my health. I usually visit the Egg Harbor Twp office and was delighted to meet Aysha at the Pennsville office. She was GREAT and very welcoming. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do and the awesome care you give!!! !

I was very happy and has been in the past with Dr. Matusso and the staff. I'm just disappointed that as Cooper refurbishes the business there in Lake Harbor Township, that I do not have easy access to Dr. Matusso or a facility at all that's close by. And due to my age, my husband's age, this becomes a very difficult I wish that he was much closer to the Egg Harbor Township area. And I guess that's all I have to say because I really, really appreciate the staff and I really, really appreciate Dr. Muthuso especially. Thank you. I might have to change doctors and offices.

First time meeting and felt very relaxed and comfortable

I really appreciate Dr. Gary Matusow he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Please do not close this office, it just needs a facelift, but we need cooper gastro here in atlantic county, and we definitely need dr.gary matusow. Please consider this a formal request to stay open

I am very thankful for Dr. Matusow and his nurse Kristina. They both put me at ease and treat me like I'm their only patient - caring, informative and always ready to listen and answer questions.
