I was seeing Dr. McKenzie for a second opinion - he had treated my mom a few years ago at Holy Redeemer and had full confidence in him. SInce I was not comfortable with the Abington doctor that I had seen, it was suggested that see him for a second opinion. At the appointment, I bought with me all prior scans and reports for the doctor to look at. I was pleased at how Dr. McKenzie clearly explained scans to us and put together a plan for moving on. I was grateful for my visit with him.

The Doctor was very detailed and informative concerning my X-Ray results. Answered all of my questions. Professional and polite, displayed a positive attitude. I felt that he was concern and understanding about my condition. Made a referral for further review. Very satisfied with visit.

He performed my surgery flawlessly and made sure I understood every step of the process. His bedside manner is warm, patient, and reassuring, he never makes me feel rushed and always answers every question. What truly sets him apart is how far he goes beyond his role. He's coordinated care with other specialists, followed up personally, and helped with details that are outside of his immediate specialty. He has repeatedly gone above and beyond to help me obtain answers and solutions for health concerns unrelated to the procedure he performed. Everything, that I read online about this doctor is true. I found Dr. McKenzie to be a very easy going and compassionate person. Upon introducing himself to me and shaking my hand, he asked me what can I do for you today. Doctors today rarely shake your hand when they introduce themselves to you. I was very impressed with his manners. We discussed my concerns about a recent MRI I had taken. My MRI was ordered by my nurse practitioner. Although she had talked to me about my results, I wanted an in depth discussion about the MRI, which led me to this doctor. Dr. McKenzie was very thorough in his explanation about each area of my MRI. He made sure that I understood what he was telling me and he referred to the picture of my MRI for further understanding. When he was done explaining everything to me, he asked me if I had any additional questions. I asked him my questions and he patiently explained things to me again, so I could have complete understanding of what he was telling me. Dr. McKenzie explained the difference actions that could help me, then asked if I would be willing to have another test which involves some discomfort. After Dr. McKenzie finished his examination and discussion with me, he again shook my hand before leaving. He thanked me for coming and told me he was happy to meet me. Who does this anymore He has great manners. I am so happy that my nurse practitione, refered Dr. McKenzie to me. One could never go wrong with choosing this doctor.

The staff was polite, knowlegable and efficient Dr Mckenzie was apologetic for his delay..multiple times. He explained verbally and visually my spinal stenosis and explained everything clearly to me, despite knowing I was a nurse. I trusted him immediately.

They were being so nice so much so that it was scary after a while, but it was overdone. I want to say, but it was pleasant and I had to who are you look on my face lol but we got through today. The doctor even answered the question upon my exiting. . he told me what I needed to know that's it
