When my Penn Medicine primary care physician left the Philadelphia area I needed to find a new doctor. I was not impressed with the options available at Penn. My spouse used Cooper services and was very happy with his primary care physician, Justin Schweitzer, DO. In [Date] I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Schweitzer and was very pleased with how professional he was, the time he spent with me to answer all my questions, and ease of discussing my health concerns with him. Every appointment with him since, including my latest exam, has been a good experience.

I've had Dr. Schweitzer as my primary doctor for over a decade. He is always very thorough, explains everything in detail. But, most of all he treats you as a friend.

Great experience but have 1 suggestion. When the nurse takes you back to weigh you, then to the exam room to take your blood pressure, I suggest they wait a few minutes before taking the blood pressure. Mine was high when the nurse took it and I had the doctor take it again when he came in. It went down to my normal range. Other than that, love going there.

This was supposed to be just a general follow up visit but I was experiencing flu-like symptoms for the past several days. Dr Schweitzer spent additional time reviewing my current condition, and determined that I have sinus infection as a result of these flu-like symptoms.
