I have been seeing Dr Penberthy for 10 years now and under her care I have seen a marked improvement in the control of my diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol. My weight is stable and on a downward trend. I recently moved to Lewes DE and my drive to Dr Penberthy is now ~2 hours one way. Yet I plan to continue to see Dr Penberthy because of the high quality of treatment I receive and the care and attention she provides. The office staff is wonderful to work with and effectively complement Dr Penberthy's patient care.

I would like to say that office Manager of this office is absolutely horrible and should not have her job. She is disrespectful Every other person in that office is great but the main one who is in charge The providers are all great!

The best provider and staff

I have not always had good experiences in hospital systems. Doctors have often felt dismissive, rushed, unknowledgeable or unhelpful. Dr. Penberthy was the opposite of that. She is thorough, thoughtful and helpful. I am glad a resident was in the room so he could learn from a doctor who knows how to handle a patient.

I just would like to say that I was very pleased with the way my visit went with Dr. Penberthy on Thursday. She brought up an issue and gave me a way to handle it, and I followed through. And I just felt very good about that.

It took me a year to find a doctor. I found one that listens to me and my needs and listens to my concerns and then will stand for when I do something that's not beneficial to myself to make it correct. So I love Dr. Penberthy. I love her. She's someone I can tell everything to. She's someone that listens and responds to all of my needs and that's definitely important to me considering I've only had four doctors in my whole life and the only reason I had four was due to the fact that my childhood one retired. My teenage one retired and chem care wasn't good enough so I chose Dr. Penberthy and I made the right choice.

We have been thinking about changing medical provider over the last couple of years and I wish we found Dr Penberthy sooner. Both my wife and I are really happy with her.

I have been going to this office for many years now and have always been treated with respect. Any questions that I am concerned about my doctor has always been able to help me with.

She was understanding what I was saying to her about I wanted papers to sign that I didn't want any extra help in the hospital. Like if I was, I didn't want a feeding tube, I didn't want a breathing tube or anything else like that. She was concerned with and she understood what I was saying to her. At this age and what I'm going through, I don't want to have, I'm 84, going to be 84, and the doctors just don't want any extra help. I'm tired. I don't want any more operations. Thank you.

The office personnel are friendly and eager to help. Dr. Penberthy is not only very intelligent but also compassionate and caring. She has already examined the blood tests and has recommendations on how to proceed. She gives suggestions when options are available. She seems genuinely interested in knowing about my health and asks if I have any concerns. She's the perfect physician. When cloning becomes commonplace, clone her first so that all people may experience great medical care.

Dr Penberthy took the time to discuss and answer my questions about a new drug prescribed for me by my cardiologist. I appreciated her honesty and consideration for my concerns regarding having to yet another medication. I am doing some research on my own as well to be further informed. The office staff and the nursing team are always friendly and efficient.
