I was just confused because Dr. Palumba, the PA I thought was sending me to get my back looked at for the cortisone injections. And here I ended up with Dr. Kleiner who's excellent, gave me news I wasn't expecting, but just that whole thing, because I don't think Dr. Kleiner could have given me clearance for the cortisone injections before I actually saw the spine team. Luckily, Dr. Kleiner gave me a referral to the spine team. So still working on it. But thank you for the catch.

I light of past experience with other osteo care, was pleasantly surprised how fast treatment was completed - but concerned my labs were not reviewed before prescription for Celebrex was issued - but can understand in light of the fact the NSAIDS were previously injected into my knee - he might not be concerned as my general practitioner about NSAIDS in my blood and how they would effect my elevated liver enzymes.

This was my first visit and I know Dr Graf would never send me to Dr Kleiner if he wasn't tops in his field. However, due to my condition I'm still a bit confused about things. I know I need resolution with my right knee before proceeding with the left ( left knee seen by doc Kleiner). It's just my left knee is I'm more pain and agony that I let on and that was evident at time of appointment ( usually it's swollen and double the size from weight being for both legs) In retrospect I realized I did not ask many questions relevant to my situation, so that's on me. I suppose after I get the remaining screws out of my right knee I will have time to consider how to move forward because my right leg/ knee is really taking a beating carrying the load. I've all but atrophied in other areas even with PT but I'm still fighting. So I will be back and let Dr. Kleiner see if we can't revisit this so I can move with some sort of grace at some point. Oh, lovely bedside manner!!!!

Every one cares about your personal needs and that means a lot, even the lady that explained how to get out of the parking lot, haha, so why wouldn't I enjoy coming there! Except the needle in the knee hurts.

Dr. Kleiner is a personable doctor. You can sense his care for you and usually asks if you have questions or concerns and then he answers your questions. . I feel like I am his only patient as he never seems in a hurry to get me out the door. He has a calming demeanor. He is very smart and kind. And all the folks on his team are helpful and kind.
