This was my first time seeing Dr. Carran and the neurology staff at Cooper after been seen by another neurologist for years prior. I was very pleased with my visit as Dr. Carran took the time for me to explain my medical history prior to discussing any possible future treatments.

My provider is outstanding, but it greatly confounds me that I cannot make a future appointment 12 months out! Why Then I am told I must wait about 6 months and call back to see "if they can"!

Dr. Carran is very caring and helped my wife (patient) and I through a tough time with careful and thoughtful answers to questions we had for her. She has been my wife neurologist for over 15 years and her care has always been wonderful. Her thoughtful answers to our questions helped calm us. We greatly appreciated it and everything worked out. I just started going to Dr. Karen, so I really don't know her that well yet, but I'm very pleased with her checking into me as far as this parathyroidism I have going on from my calcium, because it's very high in my body, and it's causing me to have tremors. And I just want to find out if that's what's going on with me for sure, because other doctors will tell me that it's not that bad, that my level's not that bad, but it is. And I know for a fact that there's like other patients whose levels were 10.1 and mine's like a [Date] , and they have parathyroidism. So I have to find out for sure what is going on, but I need a doctor who's gonna listen to me. But I'll be seeing her for my epilepsy, and she was very, very helpful.
