I have been highly sensitive anymore in regard to doctors, their offices, hospitals, and having any diagnostics. Bc I'm so nervous I'm not very sociable at all and barely smile (which is unlike me). It's easier to feel less anxious when ppl around me are so nice, caring, smiling, etc. I know ppl can't smile 100% of the time and sometimes ppl just treat you like another "number" regardless of your situation. I know not everyone knows your history, but it's more bothersome when you are at a cancer center or seeing an oncologist, one would think to be more compassionate. I have a long history of dealing with sort of stuff for 11-12 years now with ongoing cancer, so many surgeries and tests. It really weighs on you. I'm by myself 99% of the time. I am not married and I'm a caregiver to my 90yo grandmother. Ppl forget that we all have our own story and treat others like they would like to be treated or their loved ones. I have had good experiences but I also have had bad. Probably a good 50/50 which is very poor in my eyes. You become desensitized really. I used to be very upbeat and positive no matter what, and I'd be the patient. When you smile or ask a question some ppl just can't smile back or even want to talk to you. I stopped feeling offended and I now say something (to them). Some listen and care (not realizing they are acting that way) and some just simply don't care. Why I'm saying this is, is that it is EXTREMELY rare to go to a doctors office where EVERYONE is so compassionate and treat you like a human. My guard comes down and my anxiety lessens. This office, the minute I walked through the door, I was greeted with a smile and asked how I was doing. I wasn't very chatty at all (bc of my nerves) but the reception did not skip a beat and continued to be her sweet self. The next person comes in and I wasn't very chatty greeted the same exact way which now I'm starting to really relax. This was a great thing bc I was there for a second opinion and needed to be sharp, listen closely, and remember what to ask. I gave ADHD and anxiety so badly, that I will fixate on the last person who treated me poorly. I walked out of there actually feeling soooo much better and confident. Dr Duffy spent a good amount of time with me. She got me in soooo fast due to my time constraints. She never stopped smiling, being nice and open. Tho I never met her before I was instantly drawn to her and my guard that is always up (ppl like to say I'm "too sensitive" and maybe so. Life of circumstances brought me here and how I am). Dr Duffy in an instant had completely dissolved any apprehension I may have had. She gave me her true thoughts and opinions. Ran through each scenario and I felt great. Tho I'm not happy about needing surgery again, but my doubts disappeared. My gynecologist has been recommending Dr. Duffy for years now. I wished that I listened. When he called her to see if she could please see me right away, she did. I am shockingly surprised to be honest. Tho she doesn't know me she showed care. Her whole office did. Your mood in any situation starts at the receptionist. They basically set the tone the minute you walk in (especially to an unfamiliar place). Tho over the years I have been noticing that receptionists have less attitudes as I'm sure that I'm not the only person to feel this way. Dr Duffy's office however, went beyond a friendly hello, or just ignoring me all together bc I wasn't being social or friendly . Some ppl just know that others are scared and to not take it personally. I apologized on my way out and she looked at me like she didn't know why I was apologizing in the first place. I cannot say enough about my experience (tho I know I'm writing an awful LOT). I only write when I am either extremely satisfied or extremely dissatisfied. I'm very glad that it's the former. So I say thank you a million times over. Please let her office know what I said (or paraphrase anyway). I wanted to write a let...<Truncated>

So glad that Dr. Duffy comes to Egg Harbor Twp. on Thursday. It makes it easier to receive good medical care close to home for thousands of women in South Jersey. The quiet office is comfortable and I hope the new offices to Fire Rd. are just as pleasant.

I seen my oncologist Dr Meredith Duffy for my follow up she recommended some more treatments of chemo to keep making sure everything still going the way it should that's good they don't let you go to make sure everything turns out okay great doctor staff and infusion nurses great place for treatment

My oncologist Dr Duffy in a great doctor and oncologist and the staff I had a mini stoke still getting Physical therapy now but my oncologist Dr Duffy changed my chemo medicine because they didn't know if it gave me a mini stoke so have new medication they checking all the time a long process still I'm glad of my oncologist team for that
