The exam room where I waited for the doctor to see me was very very very hot. I had to open the door and stand in the doorway. I felt sick from the heat and no air circulation in that room. She moved us to a new room and I felt better.

As a survivor, I was a bit disappointed when Dr. Somer left, but the fact that I could continue my regular ongoing care with Phyllis Duda, who I knew from working with him, has made the scare another cancer risk and the regular testing that that entails so much easier to handle From the folks at the desks, the nurses and especially Phyllis, I have always been treated with the utmost of compassion and respect. That's why I keep coming back.

I feel that the Cooper staff of nurses and doctors, especially Phyllis Duda, are the finest that I could have anywhere. She's very helpful, but she's not intrusive. She will answer any question that I have and see everything to the end finish line. There is no one like that staff, whether it's a nurse that takes your blood pressure and weight or someone working at the front desk. I love the Cooper staff.

I have probably said this before, but it bears repeating. Phyllis Duda is and has always been both professional and caring. She explains everything in a manner that is easy to comprehend. And while Phyllis is talking with me about my health and checking my record, she also asks me how I am doing in general, i.e., my family, my life, etc. Ms Duda,as busy as she is, has reached out after hours to respond to me when I needed help.

We saw Phyllis Dudo instead of Dr. Jonathan Pan. She is equally as through and genuinely interested in the testicular cancer and the whole person. We would recommend her to anyone. She is an asset to Dr. Pans team and MD Anderson in general.
