Dr Vakil is a wonderful doctor, he's kind, compassionate, patient, and exercises great care whenever I see him. Beyond that he affords great explanations whenever he is sharing with me medical information that I need to know. In my opinion, he is one of the best doctors I have ever met.

I'm very happy with the surgeon's appraisal of my situation and the decision on what was the best way to proceed. He even explained that there was a path A and a path B, but ultimately path A quite often leads to you having to go to the B procedure, the ablation anyway, and he agreed with me that it obviously made sense to not even bother with the other procedure if I'm going to end up at an ablation and to get that, you know, that was the way to go. Also appreciated that I'm an educated individual and did not speak to me as if I were, you know, a six-year-old child, which unfortunately some surgeons make the mistake of doing. All the departments we have dealt with have been amazing. The oncology department. The cardiologist departments. The emergency room, his stay in the hospital, the infusion department. They have made it is much easier dealing with his illnesses. Thank you!! !

Yeah, the doctor answered all my questions, showed me examples of what the situation was with my heart and what have you. He wasn't in a rush, he took his time, he made sure I understood everything and I was actually surprised that, you know, I must have been with him for about half an hour and he was in no rush to get rid of me. He answered all my questions and made sure I knew exactly what was happening. I was very, very pleased with him. Thank you very much. Bye.
