Everyone should be as lucky as I am to have a physician like Dr. Leuzzi taking care of them. I am always very appreciative of everything she does on my behalf. Her staff is also amazing! As always I feel lucky that I have been accepted by Dr. Leuzzi as her patient along with my wife. She is definitely the best doctor as has been recognized. The check-in staffer was smiling and very pleasant - even friendly as was the technician who brought me back and took my vitals. The checkout person was very nice and offered me a pen with an eraser attached and pointed out how much easier it was to use that on my cell phone to get to the calendar. Dr Leuzzi is so pleasant and caring that it's always comfortable to be with her and puts me at ease and discussing sometimes difficult issues. Dr Leuzzi brought up an issue that we had discussed before: cutting one of my long-term medications to half the dose. I originally had not wanted to rock the boat on a medication that had been very helpful. The doctor pointed out I was having possible side effects from the medication that I didn't want to have. We talked again and I did agree to do cut the dose. One of the reasons why I would take what I would consider a risk is that it is so easy to get through to the doctor. Any messages that I have to post to the office or responded to usually the same day by staff members who are forwarding the doctors opinion. I could never feel that I'm just part of a large herd -that whole office functions as supportive and in making sure I get the attention I need.

Listens to my concerns

Dr. Leuzzi is always smiling when greeting me. She always remembers my family and asks about them. She listens to me including to any concerns I might have. If I tell her something a specialized doctor diagnosed me with, Dr. Leuzzi is familiar with the disease I'm talking about! When I have a problem, she asks pertinent questions to try to determine the cause of my problem(s). During my appointment she takes her time and doesn't make me feel rushed. She always checks my blood pressure herself even though the assistant already had. The only piece i don't like about being a patient at this practice is that i cant make my next 6 month appointment at the end of my time with the doctor, which I know has nothing to do with Dr. Leuzzi directly.

Dr. Leuzzi always makes me feel like I'm the only patient she has that day. Never rushes me, always interested in what is going on in my life. Her assistant Syretta is also excellent, as was the nurse who took my information and numbers.

Dr. Leuzzi sets the standard for quality care. She initiated the appt realizing that I had not been in for my annual check up. The timing was perfect, as I have been complaining about stomach pain to gastroenterology and unable to get a time sensitive appt. When asked, GI indicated they do not have sick appts. Something is wrong with that. Dr. Leuzzi gave me a thorough exam, had bloodwork ordered. She also ordered an ultrasound that has resulted in the radiology recommendation for an MRI. Dr. Leuzzi and the staff clearly prioritize the patient. I have had follow up calls about the mri appt is made, even though I am using SJR since Cooper could not see me for over a month. Their support has been valuable as I navigate discerning what is going on.
