I've been a registered nurse since early 2000s. I always have commercial insurance. A few years ago, I lost my insurance and I went on Medicaid. My MRI ordered by Dr. Michaels was refused four times by my insurance. At this point, I need a hip replacement. He has been professional. He's been caring. He has been kind and he has been understanding. So I have no issues with Dr. Michaels. I put into this system since I was 15 and I'm really, really upset that my MRI was

Very conservative in his approach to treatment. Devotes as much time as necessary to answer every question. On our initial visit he spent at least 30 minutes to reveal all alternatives. Very few doctors would dedicate this amount of time. I appreciate his efforts to treat me fully.

Great office. I always feel comfortable and confident that I'll get the car I need.

I had a 1:30 appt with the dr but wasn't seen until 2:22 when I was told I needed X-rays. I waited another 15-20 minutes before finally seeing Dr. Michael. Other than the time, I was pleased with my first time visit to Dr. Michael. He was thorough and explained things so I could understand them.

Excellent! I was told I will not need a TKR until I am 80 so I am ECSTATIC! I just turned 73 yo and I am very active! I had wrist surgery after a golf injury! Then I fell off treadmill looking for ear bud that had fallen out when I was recuperating from wrist surgery! Made a mess of my shoulder/ still have 6 anchors but back to golf, so knee surgery is not in my short-term plan!

It is always a wait for Dr Michael but it is well worth it. He takes his time to answer your questions and you don't feel rushed or confused. He did an amazing job when he gave me a new hip 5 years ago. I have sent many people to him since. They all agree that he remembers what is important about being a Doctor beyond skills, he has bedside manner. Do yourselves a favor and don't let him retire.
