Dr. Yoakam is one fabulous person. We are so lucky to have him in the medical field. He's thoughtful he's kind he's thorough. He's everything you would want in a physician to help you get through your rough times and he made me see the light at the end of the tunnel that I'm gonna be OK.

I feel Dr. Yoakum was always concerned about my health, about the surgery that he's going to do on me. He's amazing and I would always recommend him to my family and my friends. Thank you.

Although Dr. Yoakom was running late, he took the time to explain all of what I needed to have answers to. He was very kind and compassionate and funny and I appreciated his transparency when discussing my diagnosis and what was available to me.

Dr Yocom is an excellent Neurosurgeon who spends time with his patients to review their case and provides them with a thorough understanding of conditions and options for treatment. I was appreciative that they were able to see me quickly when I had an issue causing additional back pain. And, very appreciative that Dr Yocom ordered a follow-up CT scan when there was a lung abnormality seen on a prior thoracic Xray. I feel very comfortable talking with Dr Yocom about my health issues and highly recommend him to friends of mine.

Dr. Yocum maintains his professionalism while making the patient feel comfortable and at ease. He's an extremely skilled and well versed surgeon who gives the patient "Hope" while not providing false hope. Unlike other individuals in his field Dr. Yocum missed the class in ego. We would highly recommend Dr. Yocum and his staff.

First, it's a beautiful building and everything still looks new and well kept! I was checked in with a smile and it was quick and easy. I pre-checked in on MyChart. I was pretty nervous for this appointment and Dr. Yocum put me right at ease from the moment he walked in the room. He most certainly took his time explaining everything to my understanding. Everyone took time with me. They understood my needs, my wants, and they were very curious about my condition. They wanted to know if there was anything they could do for me or if I needed to apply or tell them anything, I could easily contact them without any problem or hesitation. But everyone on his staff and Dr. Yoffman was very, very professional people from one to 10. Very, very professional. So hopefully my strength will come in stronger as time go on, but they left the door open, so if I need to contact them in any way, I am able to. Thank you, and I really appreciate it.

Dr. Yocom is a good listener, caring and a good adviser. He listen to you and if you have any ex-ray or MRI, he showed it to you and explained to you what's he see in it and always find solutions to it. I cannot trade him for another doctor.

I felt the ICU Trauma floor was very loud with staff. It actually hurt my head worse. The nurses were amazing

I cannot say the same about my experiences with neurology at Penn, Jefferson or Virtua's resources. Cooper is my jam - and I am grateful for being treated so superbly.

Dr Yocom is the best!! He removed a large tumor from my spinal cord and saved my legs!!
