Dr. Wang completed his gastroenterology training at the Mayo Clinic and is a strong believer that "the needs of the patient come first." Dr. Wang has worked at Cooper since 2012 and practices general gastroenterology and hepatology, with a subspecialty focus on Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Wang enjoys getting to know his patients well as a person and taking care of all aspects of their digestive health.
Dr. Wang is an associate professor of medicine and a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the nation's oldest and most prestigious medical society dedicated to disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. AGA fellowship honors superior professional achievement in clinical practice and in basic or clinical research.
Outside of work, Dr. Wang enjoys swimming, hiking, reading biographies, and traveling around the world.

He is the best gastroenterologist. I have many, many problems with my health and my stomach. Neuroendocrine tumors. I have a problem with a flap that's delayed because I had a stroke. It just is very numerous. And I feel so confident with my health with this man. I will trust him with my life and I will tell everyone about him that has anything to do with their stomach. So I really, really, really thank you. And I thank God for this. Thank you. God bless you.

The office of Dr. Wang is amazing and everybody is treating me all the time with respect. It's easy to talk. This office is amazing. Everybody goes on and beyond to give great services. So I'm being almost 11 years with Dr. Wang in that office and honestly, I love every bit of that office since they treat me so well. Round of applause for such a nice team.

Dr Wang is an incredible dr.! He is professional, caring, intelligent, lots of experience. Dr Wang listens carefully and patiently, allowing you to express your frustration with your daily symptoms. He is understanding and empathetic. One feels that he is truly trying to figure out the best treatment for a complex condition that doesn't have an easy answer. He has helped me more than any other gastro that I have seen . I believe it is because he listens carefully, thinks thoroughly, and tries to come up with the safest and best plan. He also gives you possible future options which instills hope.
